If you spent any time around the school at Rexburg you'd know that
Rexburg parking sucks. You can't ever get a spot and thanks to new Rexburg laws, you'll probably get a ticket if you do find one.
I had a meet up group today and luckily school is out so it was easy to find a parking spot on the street. I come back out and find that I have a ticket. A ticket for parking on the street? I read the ticket and it explains how I have to have a permit. I'm like O.K. how am I supposed to know this. I look around and find a sign, it's the one circled in the picture. Yeah, the one on the pole next to the parking lot entry. I didn't enter the lot so why would I read the sign? Turns out legally that's all the posting the city of Rexburg has to do to enforce the law, and that's the story I got when I called the police office. I could tell the officer was rather uncomfortable with enforcing it but laws are laws. I thought making a post might make people more aware WHY
Rexburg Parking Sucks and maybe people in the future can get notified of the law before they get a ticket for parking on a public street.
