Derek got 10,000 page views on all the ad sense sites now. Work is going great as some UK site linked to the photography website they run so there has been almost 3,000 visitors per day the last 3 days.

We reorganized the garage making room for our new addition- A chest freezer! We also tweaked the antenna so that we can get 1 channel again. Go NBC! Actually we’re not really fans of NBC, just one show once a week that teaches Quinton to shoot stuff, and another funny show. Maybe it wasn’t worth hooking up…

Quinton has gotten a special place for eating that he can share with 3 of his closest friends. Less risk of him loosing teeth on it too as he’s only a foot off the ground. Quinton will have more to come on that and other events in his life soon. Stay Tuned!

We got some clothes shopping out of the way and on the way down listened to a talk show talking about how labor day was a gift to the labor unions and was very close to being celebrated on May day, which was always a day of celebration for socialist nations. Janalee always thought it was just a day that you get popcorn and candy in a basket.

We were curious if we could pull the wagon with a smaller truck, here’s what happened. It didn’t last too long cause Quinton took off after it.

The Apple music event is going to be next wed, September 1st. Thinking about taking the day off… Rumors of a mini iPad with face time and some other gadgets. The iPad would be the coolest of them all if it was to incorporate everything that the iPhone has. Even if it’s just the iPod that get’s a camera it will be worth it. How much more fun would it be to take HD video with your iPod aside from being the best MP3 player ever and having all sorts of other apps.

So we reset the Netgear router and went to set it up again. Kind of interesting to know that you can just always go to 192.168.1.1 and then use the username of admin and password of password and setup some unsecured network however you want it to be. Have to try that with some neighbors, they’ve been taking too much bandwith from the network. Then again it’s probably someone like Chad so I should leave them alone.

There’s been a lot of posts on the site about topics that don’t spur the highest quality ads, I’ve seen ads for law enforcement and pregnancy websites. Not too interesting to the average person. What is interesting? Electronics. Specifically the iPad. iPad cases, iPod, and more iPad it all comes out next month and we’re anxiously awaiting. Sound like kind of a worthless post? We’ll I’m really just writing it too see if Shauna’s virus is in the computer, cause it starts to effect you the second time you try to login.

We noticed that Quinton was taking up quite a bit of space on our blog, so he’s move to his own space where he can write all he wants and update you with his photos. The truth is now we don’t really know what we’re ever going to have to say on our family blog

If you spent any time around the school at Rexburg you’d know that Rexburg parking sucks. You can’t ever get a spot and thanks to new Rexburg laws, you’ll probably get a ticket if you do find one.

I had a meet up group today and luckily school is out so it was easy to find a parking spot on the street. I come back out and find that I have a ticket. A ticket for parking on the street? I read the ticket and it explains how I have to have a permit. I’m like O.K. how am I supposed to know this. I look around and find a sign, it’s the one circled in the picture. Yeah, the one on the pole next to the parking lot entry. I didn’t enter the lot so why would I read the sign? Turns out legally that’s all the posting the city of Rexburg has to do to enforce the law, and that’s the story I got when I called the police office. I could tell the officer was rather uncomfortable with enforcing it but laws are laws. I thought making a post might make people more aware WHY Rexburg Parking Sucks and maybe people in the future can get notified of the law before they get a ticket for parking on a public street.

Here’s Quinton playing t-ball and wearing sun glasses. He’s having all sorts of new experiences this summer. It’s fun that Janalee can capture all the video and then just text it to me during work with her phone. So here you go, now I’m passing it on to all of you.

We decided we’ve got a pretty cute kid- which puts us right about in the same spot as any other parents. It’s fun seeing Quinton develop a personality and start doing a lot more things.

It’s funny how as you get smarter you have to get smarter. A good example was that Quinton got his wipes container and started to use it as a step stool… a smart idea, until it collapses under him one day. Hopefully he figures out “no” before that happens to often.

He’s also learning other things- mimicking just about everything Mom and Dad do. This is especially fun for Dad, but can kind of make mom uneasy. Here’s Quinton with his disc gun:

In Sunday school our kids told us that he never smiles. That seems to be what most people see so here’s so pictures for proof that we’ve got a happy smiling little boy.

Here’s the new boy in the Ultrasound Pictures. He even does some of the same stuff as Quinton Already. The lady who did it was very animated and acted like a photographer trying to get the boy to pose.
